Site of the annual American Century Championship on NBC and a regular member of Golf Digest's prestigious Top 100. Bordering Lake Tahoe, it's considered one of the country's most challenging and breathtaking. Tees can reach to 7,600 yards over manicured fairways, through pine forests and open meadows. Water on 14 holes and lightning fast greens make a lasting impression. Site of the 1985 U.S. Senior Open, and the 1980 U.S. Public Links Championship. Originally designed by George Fazio and opened in 1968, it includes modifications by Tom Fazio in recent years. Website: www.edgewoodtahoe.com
Incline Village Championship Course
The course was renovated in 2005 by Kyle Phillips. Tightly cut fairways bordered by towering pines demand accuracy as well as distance. Bunkered greens and lateral water hazards on almost every hole as well as spectacular views of Lake Tahoe explain why Robert Trent Jones Sr. described Incline Village as “the ideal mountain layout.”
